【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=이재영 증평군수는 10일 오전 민선6기 3년의 성과와 앞으로 남은 1년간의 정책 추진 계획을 발표했다.

 

주요 성과로는 증평형 행복돌봄모델 구축, 군민과 365일 소통하는 군민중심 공감행정 정착, 민생경제 활력을 불어넣는 경제 생태계 기반 구축, 스마트한 미래농업 조성, 품격있는 문화관광도시로 도약,  생애주기별 든든한 증평형 복지환경 구축을 꼽았다.

 

앞으로 1년간 펼칠 5대 핵심과제로는, 증평형 돌봄 고도화를 통한 복지도시 구현, 산업생태계 구축, 문화 체육 관광 인프라 확충, 지속 가능한 농업 기반 조성, 증평군 100년 도시기반 조성 등을 역점적으로 추진할 계획이다.

 

이날 이 군수는 “군민이 일상에서 변화를 체감할 수 있도록 속도감 있는 행정 추진에 집중하겠다”며 “핵심사업의 성과를 가시화하고 장기사업의 기반을 견고히 다져 증평의 한계를 뛰어넘겠다”고 강조했다.

 

이를 실현할 5대 핵심과제로 △돌봄 정책 고도화를 통한 새로운 패러다임 선도 △미래산업 기반과 혁신성장 중심의 산업생태계 구축 △문화·체육·관광 인프라 확충 및 정체성 확립 중점 △지속가능한 농업·농촌 기반 조성 △내일의 도시 준비 등을 제시했다.

 

먼저, 돌봄 분야에서는 ‘증평형 돌봄 고도화’가 본격화된다.

 

지난 6월부터 임시 운영　중인 돌봄나눔플러스센터와 2026년 완공　예정인 행복돌봄센터를 중심으로 맞춤형 아이돌봄 서비스를 강화하고, 우리동네 행복놀이터 사업을 연계해 돌봄·놀이·휴식이 융합된 돌봄복합문화공간을 조성한다.

 

특히 개나리어울림센터 내 시니어복합문화공간을 조성하고 재가돌봄 실현을 위해 증평형 노인복지모델 시범사업을 전면 확대하며, 장애인보호작업장 건립을 추진해 세대·계층을 아우르는 포용 복지 기반을 다진다.

 

산업 분야는 증평3·4일반산업단지 조성과 인근 산업단지 연계를 통해 산업 클러스터 구축에 주력한다.

 

동시에 에듀테크밸리의 허브이자 스타트업의 전진기지 역할을 할 공공임대형 지식산업센터 건립과 한국교통대학교 내 글로벌 지역혁신 선도연구센터 지원으로 증평만의 차별화된 경쟁력을 갖춘 산업생태계를 조성하겠다는 전략이다.

 

문화·체육·관광 분야는 인프라 확충에 집중한다

 

송산리에 조성 중인 복합문화예술회관은 인근 도서관, 문학관과 연계해 복합문화타운을 완성하고, 종합운동장과 연계해 조성 중인 스포츠테마파크는 전국 단위 체육대회 유치를 통해 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣을 예정이다.

 

관광은 좌구산휴양랜드와 벨포레를 중심으로 체류형 콘텐츠를 강화하며, 관광의 산업화로 본격 도약한다.

 

최근 좌구산의 새로운 랜드마크로 떠오른 트리하우스와 별천지 워터스퀘어에 이어, 국산목재 실연사업 등 산림 특화 콘텐츠를 확충하고, 벨포레와의 연계를 통해 관광 시너지를 극대화할 계획이다. 

 

이와 함께 청주공항 연계 관광 프로그램으로 외부 관광 유입 확대에도 박차를 가한다.

 

역사·문화 정체성 확립을 위한 사업도 본격 추진된다. 추성산성 정비와 더불어 메리놀시약소 일대를 중심으로 한 근현대 역사문화거리 조성으로 증평의 고유한 스토리를 입힌다.

 

농업 분야는 전통농업과 미래농업의 균형 잡힌 지원으로 ‘지속가능한 농업·농촌’ 기반 조성에 주력한다.

 

농산물종합가공센터와 먹거리유통지원센터를 연계한 농산물종합유통타운 조성으로 생산과 유통을 분리한 효율적인 농산물 유통구조를 구축할 계획이다.

 

또한 기후변화와 규모의 한계를 극복하기 위한 미래농업의 생존전략으로 향후 마을 단위의 공유형 스마트팜 시스템을 도입하고, LG연암대학교와 협력해 스마트농업 중심의 실무형 인재 양성에도 박차를 가한다.

 

새로운 미래 100년을 대비하는 내일의 도시 기반 조성에도 군정 역량을 집중한다.

 

콤팩트시티(compact-city)의 지역 특성을 살려 ‘20분 도시’의 인프라 확충과 지역 간 균형 잡힌 발전을 위한 전략사업을 추진한다.
