【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=오송첨단의료산업진흥재단(KBIOHealth)은 11월 13일 서원대학교와 바이오헬스 분야 지역인재 양성을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 양 기관이 보유한 교육·연구 역량과 인적·물적 자원을 공동 활용해 바이오헬스 산업 현장에서 필요한 전문인재를 체계적으로 육성하고, 나아가 지역사회와 국가 바이오산업 발전에 기여하기 위해 추진되었다.

양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 ▲교육·연구·산학협력 활성화를 위한 공동 프로그램 개발 ▲바이오 및 첨단산업 관련 공동연구 및 기술개발 ▲인턴십·현장실습·취업연계 등 인재양성 프로그램 운영 ▲세미나·심포지엄·학술대회 등 공동 개최 ▲기타 양 기관이 필요하다고 인정하는 협력 사업 등을 추진할 계획이다.

KBIOHealth는 이번 협약을 계기로 교육과 연구 프로그램을 지원할 인프라를 확충하고, 서원대학교는 학문적 역량과 현장 교육을 연계해 지역 맞춤형 바이오헬스 인재를 양성할 방침이다.

이명수 KBIOHealth 이사장은 “서원대학교와의 협력을 통해 지역사회와 산업 현장에서 필요로 하는 바이오헬스 인재 양성 기반을 더욱 공고히 할 것”이라며, “양 기관의 긴밀한 협력이 충북을 비롯한 국내 바이오산업 발전의 중요한 초석이 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

한편, KBIOHealth는 2010년 설립 이후 연구개발부터 사업화까지 전주기 지원체계를 구축해 왔으며, 이번 협약을 통해 산학이 함께 성장하는 인재양성 모델을 실현하고, 미래 바이오산업을 이끌 핵심 인재 발굴에 앞장설 예정이다.

The Osong Medical Industry Promotion Foundation and Seowon University Sign MOU to Cultivate Biohealth Talent

On November 13th, the Osong Medical Industry Promotion Foundation (KBIOHealth) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seowon University to foster local talent in the biohealth sector.

This agreement aims to systematically cultivate the specialized talent needed in the biohealth industry by jointly leveraging the educational and research capabilities, human and material resources of both organizations, and to contribute to the development of local communities and the national biotechnology industry.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to: develop joint programs to promote education, research, and industry-academic cooperation; joint research and technology development related to biotechnology and advanced industries; operate talent development programs such as internships, field training, and job placement; co-host seminars, symposiums, and academic conferences; and pursue other cooperative projects deemed necessary by both organizations.

Through this agreement, KBIOHealth will expand its infrastructure to support education and research programs, while Seowon University will foster customized biohealth talent in the region by linking academic capabilities with on-the-job training.

KBIOHealth Chairman Lee Myung-soo stated, "Through this collaboration with Seowon University, we will further solidify the foundation for nurturing biohealth talent needed by local communities and industries. We hope that the close collaboration between our two institutions will serve as a crucial cornerstone for the development of the biotechnology industry in North Chungcheong Province and across the nation."

Since its establishment in 2010, KBIOHealth has established a full-cycle support system, from R&D to commercialization. Through this agreement, KBIOHealth will realize a talent development model that fosters collaborative growth between industry and academia and take the lead in discovering key talent to lead the future biotechnology industry.
