【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시도시재생지원센터는 지난 11월 3일부터 4일까지(1박 2일) 원도심 일원에서 진행된 ‘2025년 도시재생 지역역량 강화사업(원도심) – 도시재생 투어프로그램 시범운영’을 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 남천·교동, 중앙동, 명동 등 도시재생사업 완료 지역을 중심으로 운영됐으며, 도시재생 해설사 양성교육 수료생 19명과 지역 주민 등 총 30명이 참여했다.

참가자들은 ▲칙칙폭폭999 ▲엽연초하우스 ▲목화랑 ▲화담 ▲달빛정원 등 주요 도시재생 거점시설을 탐방하고, 가스트로 투어와 한방 웰니스 체험 등을 통해 제천 원도심의 과거와 현재, 그리고 제천형 도시자산을 직접 체험했다.

이번 투어는 단순한 관람을 넘어 지역자원과 공간을 체험하는 주민참여형 프로그램으로 구성되어, 도시재생의 성과를 시민이 직접 체감할 수 있도록 기획됐다.

제천시는 이번 시범운영을 계기로 도심 내 상권·문화·관광을 연계한 정기 투어 프로그램으로 발전시키고, 지역 상권과 연계한 새로운 도심 활성화 프로그램을 지속 발굴할 계획이다.

프로그램 종료 후 실시한 만족도 조사에서는 대부분의 참가자가‘매우  만족’ 또는 ‘만족’으로 응답했으며, 해설사의 설명 이해도, 일정 구성, 체험 콘텐츠 등 전반에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

특히“도시재생의 개념을 쉽게 이해할 수 있었다”,“제천의 변화가 체험으로 느껴졌다”며, 대다수 참가자가 재참여 의사를 밝히며 향후 정례 운영의 가능성을 높였다.
