【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=군북면 주민자치회가 13일 증약초등학교 학생들과 ‘대청호 역사 탐방’을 실시했다.

이번 대청호 역사탐방은, 군북면 주민자치회 주민참여예산 주민주도형 보조사업으로 추진되었으며 지역의 대표적인 수자원인 대청호의 형성 과정과 역사, 그리고 환경보전의 중요성을 학생들이 직접 보고 배우며, 깨닫는 교육의 장으로 마련되었다.

증약초 학생 및 교직원 42명과 주민자치위원 20여명이 참여한 이번 탐방은 대청호 자연생태관 및 대청댐지사 방문 견학, 면 다목적회관에서 진행된 워크북 학습을 통한 물의 중요성 교육, ‘금강에 살어리랐다’ 카드게임 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 물과 환경의 소중함을 배우는 뜻깊은 시간으로 채워졌다.

특히 학생들은 대청호의 생태환경과 수자원 관리의 중요성에 대해 설명을 듣고, 실제 댐 시설을 견학하며 물이 지역사회와 환경에 미치는 영향을 체감하였다. 또한, 학생들의 관점에서 쉽고 재미있게 전달될 수 있는 참여형 프로그램을 통해, 학생들이 물 절약과 환경보호 실천 방안을 함께 고민하며 즐겁고 의미 있는 기회를 가졌다.
