주요 점검 사항은 청소년 대상 주류·담배 등 유해약물 판매 행위 및 청소년 출입·고용금지 규정 위반 여부이며, 위반 업소에 대해서는 현장 계도 및 재발 방지를 위한 안내 조치가 병행된다.

옥천군은 이번 합동 단속을 통해 수능 이후 들뜬 분위기 속 청소년 일탈 행위를 사전에 예방하고, 지역사회 내 청소년 보호 의식 확산을 유도할 계획이다.
