【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 시청 중회의실에서 김진석 충주부시장을 비롯한 5급 이상 고위직 공무원 80여 명이 참석한 가운데‘하반기 고위직 대상 4대 폭력 통합 예방 교육’을 실시했다고 13일 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 고위직 공무원을 대상으로 가정폭력·성매매 예방에 대한 인식을 강화하고, 신종 성범죄에 대한 경각심을 갖기 위해 마련됐다.

강의는 유정흔 젠더십향상교육원장이 맡아, 공직자로서 새로운 인식 개선과 실천 방안을 중심으로 한 내용으로 진행됐다.

주요 교육 내용은 ▲가정폭력의 본질 ▲인권 차원으로 본 성매매 예방 ▲인신매매 방지법 소개 ▲가정폭력과 성매매의 국내 현실에 대한 국외 인식 등이며, 최근 급증하는 디지털 성매매와 교제 폭력 등 신종 범죄에 대한 예방 및 대응 방안도 함께 다뤄졌다.

충주시는 매년 전 직원을 대상으로 4대 폭력(성희롱, 성폭력, 가정폭력, 성매매) 예방 교육을 정기적으로 실시해 오고 있으며, 고위직 공무원에 대해서는 상황에 따라 연 1~2회 맞춤형 대면 교육을 진행하고 있다.
