【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군 농업기술센터와 농업인단체협의회(이하 농단협)는 11월 11일 ‘2025년 진천군 농업인의 날 기념식’을 열고 지역 농업의 발전과 농업인들의 노고를 함께 기리는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

이번 행사에는 농업인과 유관기관 관계자 등 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 생활개선회 ‘한울림 풍물동아리’ 식전공연을 시작으로 우수농업인 및 농업대상 시상, 떡케이크 컷팅과 기념촬영 순으로 진행됐다.

특히 시상에서는 진천군 농산물의 우수성을 알리고 소비촉진에 기여한 공을 인정받아 ‘전국 으뜸농산물 한마당 장터’ 출품 과수류(멜론-박진광)와 가공류(화양연화주-윤상호) 부문 장관상을 수여하였으며, ‘이호규 생거진천수박연합회 사무국장(도지사 표창)’, ‘정강남 생거진천고추작목반(군수 표창)’, ‘송선태 진천군화훼연합회 대표(군의장 표창)’, ‘정종구 진천오이영농조합법인 대표(도의장 표창)’을 수여하였다. 농단협이 선정하는 올해의 우수 농업인단체상에 전국농업기술자협회(회장 양현모), 농업대상에는 여성농민회 이갑인 회장이 수상하였다.

진천군 관계자는 “농업인의 날은 지역 농업 발전을 위해 헌신한 농업인들의 땀과 노력을 되새기는 뜻깊은 자리”라며 “앞으로도 농업 경쟁력 강화와 지속 가능한 농업·농촌 발전을 위해 다양한 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

 한편, 진천군은 이상기후 관련 종합대책 수립, 스마트농업 확산과 청년농 육성 등 미래 농업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 농업정책 추진에 힘쓰고 있다.

The event, attended by approximately 200 farmers and officials from related organizations, began with a pre-ceremony performance by the Hanullim Pungmul Club of the Living Improvement Association, followed by awards for outstanding farmers and agricultural awards, a rice cake cutting ceremony, and a commemorative photo session.

In particular, the awards ceremony recognized the contributions made to promoting the excellence of Jincheon-gun agricultural products and promoting consumption by awarding the Minister's Award in the fruit (melon - Park Jin-gwang) and processed food (Hwayangyeonhwaju - Yoon Sang-ho) categories at the "National Best Agricultural Products Market."
