【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 보은군은 ‘결초보은 사과’ 시나노골드를 베트남 하노이로 수출한다고 13일 밝혔다. 

군에 따르면 이번 수출 물량은 총 5.4톤 규모로 보은군 사과의 우수성을 해외에 알리고, 향후 수출 확대를 위한 첫 발걸음을 내디딘 것으로 2008년 대만 수출 이후 17년 만의 재개로 보은 사과의 해외시장 진출 확대에 중요한 이정표가 될 전망이다. 

이에 군은 삼승면에 위치한 보은 과수거점산지유통센터(APC)에서 ‘결초보은 사과 베트남 수출 선적식’을 개최하고 본격적인 수출 길에 나선다. 선적식에는 최재형 보은군수를 비롯해 원예농협 관계자 등 주요 참석자들이 참여해 해외시장 개척을 축하하고 관계자들을 격려했다.

군은 이번 수출을 시작으로 12월 베트남 하노이 롯데마트에서 홍보·판촉전을 추진할 예정이며, 전문무역상사를 통해 현지 네트워크를 강화하고 수출 기반 확대에 나설 계획이다.

한편 군은 ‘스마트과수원 특화단지 조성사업’을 적극 추진하며 고품질 사과 생산 기반을 강화하고 있다. 해당 사업은 ICT 기술을 도입해 생육 환경을 실시간 모니터링하고, 기후 변화에 대응하는 재해예방 시설을 구축해 안정적인 생산 시스템을 마련하는 것으로, 향후 해외 시장에서도 뛰어난 품질 경쟁력을 확보할 것으로 기대된다.
