【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 상하수도사업소는 군민에게 안전하고 깨끗한 물을 제공하기 위해 약수터 3개소와 백곡 가압장 주변 환경정화 활동을 실시했다고 15일 밝혔다.

  이번 활동은 겨울이 오기 전 상하수도사업소가 관리하는 시설의 환경을 개선하기 위해 추진됐다. 

  이날 상하수도사업소 24명의 직원이 3개 팀으로 나눠 먹는 물 공동시설인 남산골, 보련, 엽돈재 약수터 3개소와 백곡 가압장 주변 환경정비를 실시했다.

  최영훈 군 상하수도사업소장은 “지속적으로 수질검사와 환경정비를 실시해 지역 주민이 쾌적하고 안전하게 시설을 이용할 수 있도록 주변 환경 관리에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

  한편, 상하수도사업소는 약수터의 안전한 수질 확보를 위하여 매월 1회 일반세균 등 6개 항목에 대한 수질검사를 실시하고 있으며, 그 결과를 매달 군 상하수도사업소 홈페이지에 게시하고 있다.
