【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평지역자활센터와 증평로터리클럽은 지난 14일 지역사회 나눔활동의 일환으로 사랑의 김장나눔 ‘착한손맛’ 행사를 진행했다.

이번 행사는 지역자활센터 영농사업단에서 직접 재배한 농산물과 증평로터리클럽에서 지원한 절임 배추를 활용해 김장을 담갔으며, 완성된 김장김치 25박스는 지역 내 저소득·위기가정에 전달될 예정이다. 행사 대상자 추천에는 증평군정신건강복지센터가 협조했다.

주최 측은 “작년에 이어 올해도 지속적으로 지원해주신 증평로터리클럽에 깊은 감사를 드린다”며, “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 성장할 수 있는 다양한 나눔활동을 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 증평지역자활센터와 증평로터리클럽은 연간 협약을 통해 자활참여자 나들이, 참여자 자녀 장학금 지원 등 다양한 지역사회공헌활동을 꾸준히 이어가고 있다.

Jeungpyeong Community Rehabilitation Center and Jeungpyeong Rotary Club Host "Good Hands" Kimchi Sharing Event

The Jeungpyeong Community Rehabilitation Center and Jeungpyeong Rotary Club held the "Good Hands" Kimchi Sharing Event on the 14th as part of their community outreach efforts.

This event featured kimchi made with produce grown directly by the Community Rehabilitation Center's agricultural business team and pickled cabbage donated by the Jeungpyeong Rotary Club. The 25 boxes of kimchi will be distributed to low-income and crisis-affected families in the region. The Jeungpyeong County Mental Health Welfare Center assisted in recommending recipients.

The organizers expressed their deepest gratitude to the Jeungpyeong Rotary Club for their continued support, following last year's event. They added, "We will continue to develop diverse sharing activities that foster growth within the community."

Meanwhile, the Jeungpyeong Regional Self-Reliance Center and Jeungpyeong Rotary Club have been consistently carrying out various community service activities, such as outings for self-reliance participants and scholarship support for children of participants, through an annual agreement.
