【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=(사)대한노인회 단양군지회는 대한노인회 행정지원본부 공모사업으로 추진한 ‘춤추는 난타’ 프로그램을 성공적으로 마무리하고, 지난 10일 창작 난타 발표회를 개최하며 지역사회에 따뜻한 세대 통합의 메시지를 전했다.

단양군립요양병원에서 열린 이번 발표회는 1세대 어르신과 3세대 어린이가 자연스럽게 소통하고 교감할 수 있는 맞춤형 세대 통합 프로그램을 도입하기 위해 기획된 것이다. 특히 경로당을 개방형 공간으로 변화시키는 계기를 마련하며, 지역사회 내 세대 간 공감대 형성과 지속 가능한 세대공감 프로그램 기반 조성에 큰 의미를 더했다.

총사업비 520만 원(자부담 20만 원 포함)이 투입된 이번 프로그램은 단양군지회가 수행기관으로 선정되어 10월부터 12월까지 약 3개월간 운영됐다. 

새싹어린이집 어린이 11명과 별곡2리 경로당 어르신 10명이 함께 참여해 난타 활동을 통해 호흡을 맞추고 서로를 이해하는 소중한 시간을 가졌다.

새싹어린이집 변순이 교사는 “난타를 매개로 아이들과 어르신들이 자연스럽게 소통하며 세대 간의 장벽이 허물어지고 유대감이 깊어지는 모습을 보며 큰 감동을 받았다”고 소감을 전했다.

노인회 단양군지회 관계자는 “앞으로도 경로당이 지역사회의 중심 공간으로 역할을 확대해 나갈 수 있도록 세대 통합을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 지속적으로 발굴하고 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Danyang Senior Citizens' Association Successfully Concludes "Dancing Nanta" Program Presentation

The Danyang County Chapter of the Korean Senior Citizens' Association successfully concluded the "Dancing Nanta" program, a public offering project of the Korean Senior Citizens' Association's Administrative Support Center. This presentation, held at the Danyang County Nursing Hospital, was designed to introduce a customized intergenerational program that fosters natural communication and interaction between first-generation seniors and third-generation children. It also served as an opportunity to transform senior centers into open spaces, fostering intergenerational empathy within the community and laying the foundation for sustainable intergenerational programs.

This program, with a total budget of 5.2 million won (including 200,000 won of out-of-pocket expenses), was implemented by the Danyang County Chapter for approximately three months, from October to December.

Eleven children from Saesak Daycare and ten seniors from Byeolgok 2-ri Senior Center participated together and had a precious time of bonding and understanding through Nanta activities.

Byeon Soon-i, a teacher at Saesak Daycare, said, "It was deeply moving to see the children and seniors naturally interacting through Nanta, breaking down generational barriers and deepening bonds."

An official from the Danyang County branch of the Senior Citizens' Association stated, "We will continue to discover and promote various programs that foster intergenerational integration so that senior centers can expand their role as central spaces in the community."
