【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군은 12월 1일부터 내년 1월 31일까지 62일간 진행되는 「희망2026나눔캠페인」에 동참하고자 12일을 ‘옥천군 나눔 참여의 날’로 지정하고 옥천군청 광장에서 군민 참여 행사를 열었다. 

행사는 청산중학교 2학년 문은호 군과 옥천음악협회 회원 2명이 재능기부로 사전공연을 진행해 따뜻한 분위기를 더했다. 

한편, 올해 캠페인은 ‘행복을 더하는 기부, 기부로 바꾸는 옥천’이라는 슬로건 아래 충북사회복지공동모금회 주관으로 진행된다. 또한 복지사각지대 발굴 캠페인도 병행 추진하여 도움이 필요하지만 지원받지 못하는 이웃을 군민이 함께 찾고 연계할 수 있도록 안내했다. 군은 이를 위해 ‘도움이 필요한 주변 이웃 제보 안내’, ‘지원제도 홍보물 배포’ 등 지역 밀착형 홍보 활동도 함께 실시했다.

이날 지역 내 기부 행렬도 이어졌다. 대한노인회 옥천군지회에서 15,752,000원, 향수한우판매장영농조합법인에서 10,000,000원, 천상의 정원–수생식물학습원에서 20,000,000원을 기탁하는 등 여러 기관·단체·기업이 동참하며 따뜻한 나눔 분위기를 더하고 있다.

「희망2026나눔캠페인」을 통해 모인 후원금품은 관내 취약계층 지원, 긴급복지, 겨울철 난방 지원 등 지역 복지 향상을 위한 다양한 분야에 사용될 예정이다.

Okcheon County Holds Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign Until January of Next Year

Okcheon County designated December 12th as "Okcheon County Sharing Participation Day" and held a community participation event at the Okcheon County Office Plaza to participate in the "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign," which runs for 62 days from December 1st to January 31st of next year.

The event was warmly welcomed with a pre-performance by Moon Eun-ho, a second-year student at Cheongsan Middle School, and two members of the Okcheon Music Association, who donated their talents.

Meanwhile, this year's campaign, under the slogan "Donations that Add Happiness, Changing Okcheon through Donations," is hosted by the Chungbuk Community Chest of Korea. A campaign to identify blind spots in welfare was also launched, encouraging residents to identify and connect with neighbors in need but unable to receive support. To this end, the county also implemented community-focused promotional activities, including "Reporting Neighbors in Need" and "Distributing Support Program Promotional Materials."

Donations also poured in from across the region that day. The Okcheon County Branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association donated 15,752,000 won, the Hyangsu Hanwoo Sales Farm Agricultural Cooperative Association donated 10,000,000 won, and the Heavenly Garden-Aquatic Plant Learning Center donated 20,000,000 won. Various organizations, groups, and businesses joined in, adding to the warm atmosphere of sharing.

Donations raised through the "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign" will be used in various areas to improve local welfare, including supporting vulnerable populations, emergency welfare, and winter heating assistance.
