【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시치매안심센터는 12일 청주 S컨벤션에서 열린‘2025년 치매관리사업 발전대회’에서 최우수상을 수상했다.

수상 분야는 ‘2025 치매환자 배회․실종 예방 모의훈련 우수사례 부문’이다.

시는 올해 추진한 ‘초등학교 대상 실종 대응 모의훈련’, ‘시민 대상 체험형 모의훈련’ 등 세대별 맞춤·참여형 안전망 구축 활동을 체계적으로 운영했다.

먼저, 지난 9월 19일 충주중앙초등학교 6학년을 대상으로 어린이 눈높이에 맞춘 ▲치매 이해교육 ▲배회 가능 어르신 발견 시 신고 체험 ▲119 신고 요령 실습 등을 진행해 어린 세대가 자연스럽게 치매에 대해 이해하고 사회적 책임감과 공감능력을 기를 수 있도록 했다.

또한, 9월 27일에는 충주호암체육관에서 열린 치매극복 캠페인 현장에서 시민들을 대상으로 QR 인식표를 활용한 참여형 실종 예방 모의훈련을 진행해 직접 신고·대응 과정을 체험할 수 있도록 했다.

시는 어린이–청소년–성인–노년층이 모두 참여하는 모의훈련 운영을 통해 단순 교육을 넘어 지역 공동체 기반의 실질적 치매 안전망 구축 모델을 제시했다는 점이 심사위원들로부터 높은 평가를 받았다고 전했다.

시 관계자는 “세대별 눈높이에 맞춘 훈련과 시민 참여형 안전망 구축이 좋은 평가를 받아 매우 뜻깊다”며 “앞으로도 전 세대가 함께 참여할 수 있는 치매안전 체계를 지속적으로 확산해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Chungju City Wins Grand Prize for '25 Dementia Patient Wandering and Missing Person Prevention Mock Training'

The Chungju City Dementia Safety Center won the Grand Prize at the '2025 Dementia Management Project Development Competition' held at the Cheongju S Convention on the 12th.
