【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군이 ‘제8회 한국 지방자치단체 회계대상’에서 기초자치단체 부문 ‘우수상’을 수상했다.

군은 투명하고 책임 있는 재정 운영 노력을 인정받아 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 기초자치단체 부문 ‘우수상’을 수상했다고 12일 밝혔다.

한국 지방자치단체 회계대상은 2018년부터 한국공인회계사회와 한국경제신문이 주관하고 행정안전부와 한국지방재정공제회가 후원하고 있다.

전국 243개 지방자치단체를 대상으로 주민들에게 적극적이고 투명한 재무 상태를 보고하는 우수 지자체를 발굴해 표창하는 시상이다.

군은 연간 교육계획을 수립해 결산·회계 교육을 체계적으로 추진했으며, 주요 사업인 설성어울림센터, 백야자연휴양림 신축휴양관, 삼성 복합문화센터, 감곡어울림센터 건립 등의 주요 내용과 총사업비, 운영시설 등을 주민이 알기 쉬운 결산서에 게재했다.

또한 주민이 알기 쉽도록 결산 요약 내용을 음성소식지에 게시하고 QR코드를 활용해 결산홈페이지에 주민들이 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 하는 등 재정에 관한 관심을 높이고 재정 정보 공시를 투명하게 운영한 점에서 우수한 평가를 받았다.

안예순 회계과장은 “2년 연속 한국 지방자치단체 회계대상 우수상을 수상하게 된 것은 투명하고 책임 있는 재정 운영을 위해 함께 노력해 준 군민 여러분의 관심 덕분”이라고 말했다.
