【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군립도서관이 연말과 겨울방학을 맞아 군민과 어린이를 위한 다양한 독서문화 프로그램을 운영한다. 

추운 겨울 실외 활동이 쉽지 않은 만큼, 가족이 함께 따뜻한 실내에서 문화와 배움을 즐길 수 있도록 체험과 공연, 어린이 창의 활동으로 다채롭게 마련했다.

연말 프로그램은 이달 26일까지 진행된다.

성인을 위한 ‘크리스마스 리스 만들기’는 17일 오후 7시부터 9시까지 운영되며, 생화와 장식 소품을 활용해 직접 연말 분위기의 리스를 만들어볼 수 있다. 참여 신청은 15일까지다. 

초등 1~3학년을 대상으로 한 ‘글라스 아트 크리스마스 키링 만들기’는 20일 오전 10시부터 12시까지 진행되며, 글라스아트 필름과 물감을 이용해 나만의 키링을 제작하는 활동이다. 신청은 18일까지 받는다.

크리스마스 당일인 25일에는 가족들이 함께 관람할 수 있는 뮤지컬 ‘몬스터 호텔’이 오후 2시 도서관 다목적홀에서 공연된다. 

이와 함께 도서관 1층 전시홀에서는 12월 27일까지 크리스마스 포토존이 운영돼 연말 분위기를 즐길 수 있는 포토 스폿을 제공한다.

2026년 겨울방학 프로그램은 내달 13일부터 30일까지 어린이를 대상으로 운영된다. 

초등 1~3학년을 위한 ‘잼잼 뮤지컬영어’는 음악과 영어를 결합해 자연스럽게 언어 감각을 익힐 수 있는 수업으로, 1월 13일부터 16일까지 매일 오후 4시부터 5시 30분까지 진행된다. 신청은 1월 5일까지다. 

이어 초등 2~4학년 대상의 ‘동시야 놀자’ 프로그램은 1월 27일부터 30일까지 매일 오전 10시부터 12시까지 운영되며, 동시를 활용한 창작과 놀이 활동을 통해 어린이의 표현력과 상상력을 키워주는 시간으로 구성됐다. 신청 마감은 1월 20일이다.

도서관 관계자는 “이번 프로그램을 통해 가족들이 의미 있는 연말을 보내고, 아이들이 겨울방학 동안 창의력과 상상력을 마음껏 펼치길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 도서관이 다양한 문화와 학습의 기회를 제공하는 공간이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
