군은 24일 군청 소회의실에서 충청북도-증평군 현안 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

간담회에는 김두환 군수 권한대행과 이동옥 행정부지사 등 20명이 자리했다.

이 자리서 군은 늘어나는 파크골프 수요에 대응하기 위해 보강천 파크골프장 확장사업 지원을 건의했다. 

노후된 증평체육관의 조명개선사업과 함께 주민 안전성 확보를 위한 송산교 보수·보강사업에도 충북도의 도움이 절실하다고 설명했다.

이동옥 행정부지사도 △지방재정 신속집행 △재난사고 예방 △고유가 피해지원금 지급 △선거사무 추진 등 주요 과제에 대해 증평군의 적극적인 협조를 요청했다. 

특히, 공모사업 발굴 등 국비 확보에 적극 협조해 줄 것을 요청했다.

김두환 군수 권한대행은 “풍부한 행정 경험을 갖춘 이동옥 부지사가 직접 현장을 찾아 실무적인 소통의 자리를 마련해 준 것에 감사드린다”며 “건의한 사업들이 원활히 추진돼 주민들이 실질적인 혜택을 볼 수 있도록 지속적인 관심을 부탁드린다”고 말했다. 이어“ 증평군 또한 도의 핵심 과제들을 차질 없이 이행하며 긴밀히 공조하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
