【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천문화원이 광복 81주년을 기념해 오는 8월 10일부터 18일까지 제천시민회관 제1·2전시실에서 제15회 제천문화원 전시회를 개최한다. '독립을 향한 마음, 노래가 되고 처방이 되다'라는 주제로 열리는 이번 전시는 독립기념관 순회전시와 연계해 독립운동의 다채로운 역사를 시민들에게 선보인다.

전시 현장에서는 독립기념관의 대표 콘텐츠인 '독립을 위한 처방전'과 '독립의 노래, 저항의 무대'를 만나볼 수 있다. 문화재 태극기 사진전과 체험 프로그램 등 다양한 교육 콘텐츠도 함께 마련된다. 특히 일제강점기 당시 의료인들의 국권 회복 노력과 문화예술을 통한 민족의 저항 정신을 다뤄 관람객이 쉽게 공감할 수 있도록 구성했다.

개전식은 8월 10일 오후 4시 제천시민회관에서 진행된다. 충북북부보훈지청장과 제천시의사회장을 비롯한 지역 기관·단체장, 문화예술인, 시민들이 참석해 광복의 역사적 의미를 되새길 예정이다.

앞서 제천문화원은 원활한 전시 추진을 위해 지난 7월 30일 제천시의사회와 업무협약을 체결했다. 두 기관은 의료인 독립운동가들의 정신을 알리고 관람객 참여를 확대하기 위해 협력체계를 구축했다.
