【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 제천문화관광재단이 여름철을 맞아 오는 8일 오후 2시 하소생활문화센터 산책에서 ‘이달의 작가’ 북콘서트 프로그램을 개최한다. 이번 행사에는 그림책 「고래빙수」의 문채빈 작가가 참여해 지역 어린이들과 만남을 갖는다.

‘이달의 작가’는 어린이와 지역 주민에게 독서의 친근함을 전하고, 작가와의 소통을 통해 작품의 깊이 있는 이해를 돕고자 기획된 독서 문화 프로그램이다.

5세 이상 어린이부터 초등학생을 주요 대상으로 하는 이번 북콘서트에서 문채빈 작가는 대표작 「고래빙수」의 구상 계기와 작품 속 다양한 이야기를 어린이 눈높이에 맞춰 전달할 계획이다.

행사 현장에서는 작가와의 대화 외에도 고래빙수 만들기, 가면 제작 체험, 작가 사인회 및 기념 촬영 등 직접 참여하고 즐길 수 있는 다채로운 체험 활동이 함께 펼쳐진다.

유병천 제천문화관광재단 상임이사는 어린이들이 이번 프로그램을 통해 책에 대한 흥미를 높이고 상상력을 키우는 뜻깊은 시간을 보내길 바란다고 전했다.

To celebrate the summer season, the Jecheon Culture & Tourism Foundation in North Chungcheong Province will host the "Author of the Month" book concert program at Sanchaek, the Hasso Lifestyle & Culture Center, on August 8th at 2:00 PM.
