【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제22회 제천국제음악영화제의 핵심 공연 프로그램인 ‘JIMFF 스페셜 초이스’가 오는 9월 4일부터 7일까지 제천예술의전당에서 펼쳐진다. 장항준 집행위원장이 이끄는 이번 영화제는 영화음악의 유산과 동시대 아티스트들의 새로운 서사를 잇는 4가지 테마의 무대를 선보인다.

축제의 포문은 9월 4일 오후 3시 ‘Beyond the Frame with 김문정 and The M.C Orchestra’가 연다. 대한민국 대표 뮤지컬 음악감독 김문정이 직접 큐레이션한 이번 무대에는 창단 21주년을 맞은 더엠씨오케스트라와 정상급 뮤지컬 앙상블 배우들이 참여한다. 무대 아래 오케스트라석을 지키던 이들이 주인공으로 나서 대표적인 영화 스코어와 뮤지컬 명곡들을 라이브 연주로 전달할 예정이다.
