이번 행사는 결혼이주여성들이 전통 손바느질을 매개로 한국의 생활문화를 직접 체험하고, 지역 주민들과 소통하며 자연스럽게 공동체의 일원으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 돕기 위해 기획됐다.

행사에 참여한 다문화 여성들은 손바느질을 통해 각자의 개성이 담긴 작품을 제작하며 공예의 재미와 완성의 성취감을 경험했다. 공예 체험이 끝난 후에는 연합회 측에서 준비한 음식을 함께 나누며 서로의 문화적 배경을 이해하고 정을 나누는 시간이 이어졌다.

On the 7th, the Danyang County Federation of the Korean Women’s Lifestyle Improvement Association partnered with the Danyang County Family Center to host a hand-sewing craft experience and meal-sharing event for 11 local marriage immigrant women.
