문화체육관광부 공모사업에 선정되어 괴산군체육회와 괴산군피클볼협회가 주최·주관한 이번 대회는 8월 7일부터 9일까지 사흘간 괴산문화체육센터와 국민체육센터에서 개최됐다. 전국에서 모인 700여 명의 선수단이 열전을 벌인 결과 부문별 최종 우승팀이 가려졌다.

최고 기량을 겨룬 1부 경기에서는 남자 복식 김규보·김현탁 조, 여자 복식 안수진·한금지 조, 혼합 복식 박금수·송송이 조가 각각 정상에 올랐다. 연령대별 경기인 60+ 부문에서는 노원 챌린저스, 강동위클클럽, JCPC제천 등이 우승을 차지했다. 개최지인 괴산군 선수단도 남자 복식 60+ 신인부 2위와 남자 복식 1부 3위를 차지하며 선전했다.
