사업은 오는 9월부터 11월까지 영동복합문화예술회관을 거점으로 펼쳐진다. 지역 문화예술교육단체는 물론 전문 예술기관과의 협업을 통해 다채로운 계층이 함께 즐길 수 있는 프로그램이 마련된다. 대표적으로 일반인과 장애인이 함께 참여하는 연극 체험을 비롯해 국립현대무용단 초청 어린이 무용 워크숍, 극단 수레무대와 함께하는 유아·초등학생 대상 인형극 및 그림자극 체험 등 세대와 계층을 아우르는 참여형 교육이 이어진다.

이번 선정으로 영동군문화관광재단이 올해 공모사업을 통해 확보한 국·도비 등 외부 재원은 총 6억 원에 달한다. 재단은 이를 기반으로 문화가 있는 날, 공연예술 유통지원사업 등 다채로운 문화 콘텐츠를 펼쳐 군민의 문화 복지를 높일 계획이다.
