이번 교육 과정은 충북인재평생교육진흥원의 공모사업에 선정된 ‘증평형 ESG 실천리더 선배학교’의 친환경 분야 프로그램으로, 7월 9일부터 8월 7일까지 총 8회에 걸쳐 운영됐다. 고령사회 진입에 발맞춰 지역 주민들이 자원순환과 지속 가능한 환경 조성의 주체로 거듭날 수 있도록 교육 체계를 다졌다.

주요 교육 내용은 생활 속 탄소중립 실천, 올바른 분리배출 요령, 자원 재활용, 환경보호 실습 등 일상생활에서 쉽게 적용할 수 있는 주제로 구성됐다. 이론과 실습을 병행한 맞춤형 교육 과정을 거쳐 총 15명의 주민이 수료를 마쳤다.
