【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=국립한국교통대학교 KNUT 드론축구단이 전국 규모 드론스포츠 대회에서 다시 한번 정상을 차지하며 대학 드론스포츠 분야에서의 압도적인 경쟁력을 입증했다.

국립한국교통대학교는 전라북도 전주국제드론스포츠센터 및 드론축구 상설경기장에서 열린 ‘제9회 2026 전주시장배 전국 드론축구대회’에서 KNUT 드론축구단 교통대B팀이 챌린저스 리그 최종 우승을 차지했다.

전주시가 주최하고 대한드론축구협회가 주관한 이번 대회는 드론축구 종주도시 전주에서 매년 열리는 대표적 드론스포츠 행사로, 올해는 세미프로·마스터즈·챌린저스 등 3개 리그에 전국 22개 팀 250여 명의 선수단과 관계자가 참여해 뜨거운 경합을 벌였다.

국립한국교통대학교는 챌린저스 리그에 교통대B팀과 C팀을 출전시켰다. 예선에서 교통대C팀과 YG라이칸을 각각 세트스코어 2 대 0으로 완파하며 본선에 오른 교통대B팀은 본선에서도 YG라이칸을 2 대 0으로 누르고 결승에 진출했다. 결승전에서 팀 라이즈를 만난 교통대B팀은 세트스코어 1 대 1의 팽팽한 접전을 펼친 끝에 최종 승리를 거머쥐었다.
