【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군이 제81주년 광복절을 맞아 지역 미래세대에게 독립운동의 역사적 의미를 전하기 위한 특별한 전시를 펼친다.

진천군은 오는 20일까지 보재 이상설기념관에서 ‘어린이를 위한 이야기 독립운동사’ 전시를 선보인다. 독립기념관의 순회전시물로 마련된 이번 전시는 자라나는 어린이들이 독립운동 역사를 보다 쉽고 친근하게 이해할 수 있도록 눈높이에 맞춰 기획됐다.

전시 공간에는 3·1운동과 대한민국임시정부의 활동, 한국광복군 창설 등 대한민국 독립운동사의 굵직한 순간들을 알기 쉬운 설명과 함께 담아낸 총 18개의 전시 패널이 들어섰다. 진천군은 광복절 관련 다양한 행사가 열리는 보재 이상설기념관을 전시장으로 선택해 방문객들의 접근성과 전시 효과를 함께 높였다.

군은 이번 전시가 방학을 맞은 유아 및 초등학생 방문객들에게 유익한 역사 교육의 장이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 권우영 진천군 주민복지과 주무관은 광복절을 맞아 독립운동사를 재미있는 이야기 형태로 풀어내 아이들이 친근하게 역사에 다가갈 수 있도록 기획했다며, 여름방학 기간 가족들이 함께 기념관을 찾아 우리 역사에 대한 자긍심을 높이는 뜻깊은 시간을 보내길 바란다고 전했다.

Jincheon County is presenting the exhibition "Stories of the History of the Independence Movement for Children" at the Bojae Lee Sang-seol Memorial Hall until the 20th. Prepared as a touring exhibition from the Independence Hall of Korea, this exhibition was designed to be accessible to growing children, allowing them to understand the history of the independence movement more easily and in a friendly manner.

Kwon Woo-young, an official at the Jincheon County Resident Welfare Division, stated that the event was planned to coincide with Liberation Day by presenting the history of the independence movement in an engaging story format, allowing children to approach history in a friendly manner. He expressed his hope that families would visit the memorial hall together during the summer vacation to spend a meaningful time fostering pride in our history.
