단양군은 지난 10일 적성농공단지 관리사무소에서 유연근무형 공동작업장인 ‘일하는 기쁨’ 사업장을 개소하고 본격적인 운영에 들어갔다고 밝혔다.

‘일하는 기쁨’ 사업은 장시간 근무가 부담스러운 주민들에게 개개인의 여건에 맞는 일자리를 제공하여 소득 창출과 사회 진출을 돕기 위해 기획됐다. 육아 및 가사 병행이 가능하도록 근로 시간을 유연하게 조정할 수 있는 공동작업장 형태로 운영되는 것이 주요 특징이다.

이번 사업에는 문구류 제조업체인 ‘라인플러스’가 참여하며, 적성농공단지 관리사무소 내 마련된 작업장에서 문구류 포장 작업이 진행된다.

현재 8명이 오전 시간대 작업에 참여하고 있으며, 군은 향후 참여자를 상시 모집하여 오전 10명, 오후 10명 등 총 20명 규모로 사업을 확대할 계획이다.
