단양군은 오는 18일까지 ‘2026년 단양에서 살아보기’ 2기 참가자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

‘단양에서 살아보기’는 귀농·귀촌을 준비 중인 도시민이 일정 기간 농촌에 거주하며 지역 일자리, 농촌 생활, 문화 등을 직접 경험하고 주민들과 교류할 수 있도록 돕는 정착 지원 프로그램이다. 단순 방문이나 일회성 관광을 넘어 예비 귀농·귀촌인이 실제 정착에 앞서 자신에게 적합한 환경인지 사전에 탐색할 수 있도록 기획됐다.

이번 2기 프로그램은 어상천면 삼태산농촌체험휴양마을에서 진행되며, 모집 규모는 총 5가구다.

선발된 참가자들은 거주 기간 동안 농촌 생활을 경험하는 것 외에도 지역 일자리 탐색 및 연수 프로그램에 참여하며 정착에 필요한 실질적인 정보를 얻게 된다. 또한 주민들과의 활발한 교류를 통해 농촌 공동체 문화를 이해하고, 초기 정착 과정에서 겪을 수 있는 시행착오를 대폭 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
