충북개발공사는 8월 11일 공사 접견실에서 공개 모집을 통해 선발된 제2기 청렴시민감사관 3명에게 위촉장을 수여했다. 이번에 위촉된 시민감사관들은 오는 2028년 7월 말까지 공사 경영 전반에 대한 청렴 모니터링을 수행하고, 타 공공기관과의 청렴 교류 활동 등 다양한 청렴 활동에 적극 참여할 예정이다.

공사는 이번 시민감사관 인원을 기존 대비 3배로 대폭 늘려 감사 독립성과 전문성을 크게 확보했으며, 이를 계기 삼아 국민권익위원회의 종합청렴도 평가에서 최고 등급인 1등급을 달성한다는 중장기 목표를 세웠다.
