충북대학교 충북청주강소특구와 심텍은 8월 10일 지역 기업의 성장판을 열고 지역 산업 전반의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 업무협약을 체결했다. 이번 협약은 지역 유망 기업이 보유한 혁신 기술을 대기업의 실제 제조 현장 수요와 밀접하게 연계해 실증 및 사업화 기회를 확대하고, 수요기업과 공급기업이 동반 성장하는 상생형 오픈이노베이션 생태계를 조성하기 위해 추진됐다.

협약 내용에 따라 충북대학교 충북청주강소특구는 뛰어난 기술력과 잠재력을 보유한 지역 기업을 적극 발굴한 뒤 심텍의 제조 현장 수요에 부합하는 맞춤형 기술을 선별해 매칭하는 역할을 맡는다.
