옥천군은 11일 군청 상황실에서 하반기 위기청소년 특별지원 대상자 선정을 위한 청소년복지심의위원회를 개최했다.

청소년복지심의위원회는 보호자의 실질적인 보호를 받지 못하거나 복지 사각지대에 놓여 위기 상황에 처한 청소년에게 필요한 지원이 제때 이뤄질 수 있도록 지원 대상자의 적격 여부와 구체적인 지원 방안을 심의 및 결정하는 기구다.

옥천군은 올 상반기 위기청소년 10명에게 총 1,000만 원의 지원금을 전달한 바 있으며, 이번 회의에서는 하반기 특별지원을 신청한 청소년 12명을 대상으로 심층적인 심의를 거쳐 필요한 복지 서비스를 최종 확정했다.

군은 읍·면 행정복지센터 및 학교밖청소년지원센터 등 지역 내 다양한 유관기관과 긴밀한 공조 체계를 유지하며 복지 사각지대에 노출된 위기청소년을 상시 발굴하고 있다. 앞으로도 지원이 필요한 청소년들이 적기에 적절한 도움을 받을 수 있도록 맞춤형 지원 정책을 한층 강화할 방침이다.
