【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군이 지역 내 친환경 및 옥천푸드 인증 농산물의 우수성을 알리고 건강한 식생활 문화를 확산하기 위한 맞춤형 요리 교육 프로그램을 펼친다.
옥천군은 지역 농산물 소비 촉진 및 식농교육 추진의 일환으로 오는 21일 옥천푸드행복센터 식생활교육장에서 ‘2026년 8월 로컬푸드 요리교실’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 강좌는 옥천로컬푸드직매장 회원과 지역 주민 등 20여 명을 대상으로 진행된다. 수강생들은 지역에서 생산된 신선한 친환경 식재료를 직접 활용해 '꽈리고추 삼겹살 볶음'과 '양배추 오이절임'을 만들어보며 로컬푸드의 가치와 올바른 활용법을 실습을 통해 체득하게 된다.
참여를 희망하는 주민은 선착순으로 신청할 수 있으며, 옥천군청 및 옥천군농업기술센터 공식 안내 페이지나 로컬푸드직매장 현장 게시판을 통해 간편하게 접수할 수 있다.
옥천군 관계자는 인터뷰를 통해 "이번 요리교실은 주민들이 우리 지역에서 생산된 신선하고 안전한 농산물을 직접 조리해보며 로컬푸드의 뛰어난 가치를 가슴으로 느끼는 계기가 될 것"이라며 "앞으로도 지역 농가에는 판로를 제공하고 주민들에게는 건강한 먹거리를 알리는 지속 가능한 식생활 교육 프로그램을 확대해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
이날 요리교실 참여를 신청한 한 지역 주민 역시 인터뷰에서 "우리 지역에서 나고 자란 친환경 식재료로 가족을 위한 건강한 반찬을 만들 수 있어 기대가 크다"며 "앞으로도 로컬푸드를 활용한 다채로운 요리 강좌가 자주 마련되길 바란다"고 소감을 전했다.
