【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=영동군이 여름철을 맞아 어린이들의 안전사고 대처 능력을 기르고 생활 속 안전의식을 높이기 위한 체험 중심의 맞춤형 안전교육을 추진한다.

영동군은 오는 13일부터 15일까지 사흘간 영동 레인보우힐링광장 물놀이장 일원에서 어린이를 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 어린이 안전체험마당’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 안전사고에 취약한 어린이들이 위기 상황을 직접 체험하고 올바른 행동 요령을 익힐 수 있도록 기획됐다. 교육은 전문 강사의 지도 아래 특수 제작된 맞춤형 교육용 차량에서 실감 나게 진행된다.

주요 교육 내용은 교통안전, 재난안전, 물놀이 안전 등 3개 분야로 구성된다. 교통안전 체험에서는 보행 중 지켜야 할 기본 수칙과 차량 내 올바른 안전벨트 착용법을 배우며, 재난안전 체험에서는 지진 발생 시 대피 요령과 화재 발생에 따른 대피 시연 등 가상 재난 상황을 직접 경험한다. 또한 여름철에 맞춰 물놀이 사고 예방 수칙과 올바른 구명조끼 착용법 등 실생활에 유용한 안전지식을 몸으로 익히게 된다.
