【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 음성군에서 개최되는 제65회 충북도민체육대회와 제20회 충청북도장애인도민체육대회의 성공적인 운영을 위해 지역 대학과 기업이 지원에 나섰다.

음성군은 극동대학교와 JK종합건설이 양 대회의 성공적인 개최를 기원하며 각각 500만 원의 후원금을 기탁했다고 밝혔다. 기탁식에는 조병옥 음성군수를 비롯해 류기일 극동대학교 총장, 김형권 JK종합건설 대표이사 등 주요 관계자들이 참석했다.

이번에 전달된 후원금은 충북도민체육대회와 장애인도민체육대회에 참가하는 선수단 지원 및 전반적인 행사 운영 비용으로 쓰일 예정이다.

류기일 극동대학교 총장은 음성 관내 대학으로서 지역과 함께하는 뜻깊은 행사에 힘을 보태고자 후원에 참여했다며, 앞으로도 지역사회와 상생하며 음성군의 발전을 위해 협력하겠다고 뜻을 밝혔다.
