【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교가 미래 사회 변화에 발맞춰 대학 교육과정에 인공지능 기술을 유기적으로 접목한 ‘2026학년도 AI 융합 교과목 개발 및 개편 사업’을 성공적으로 마쳤다.

충북대 교육혁신본부 교수학습혁신센터가 국립대학육성사업의 일환으로 추진한 이번 사업은 대학 내 기존 교육과정에 AI 기술을 융합하여 미래형 교육체계를 구축하고, 급변하는 교육환경에 적합한 신개념 교수·학습 모델을 제시하고자 기획됐다.

지난 6월부터 8월까지 추진된 이번 사업을 통해 총 4개 교과목이 최종 선정됐다. AI 기반 교과융합 영어교육 캡스톤 디자인, 인공지능과 금융소비자 등 2개 과목이 신규 개발됐으며, 기존 과목인 수학 II와 신호 및 시스템 등 2개 과목은 AI 기술을 적극 활용하는 방향으로 개편을 완료했다.

특히 이번 프로젝트는 단순히 AI 관련 내용을 추가하는 방식에서 탈피하여, 각 학문의 독자적인 특성과 교육목표에 맞춰 AI를 최적으로 결합했다는 점에서 고무적이다. 이를 통해 학생들은 전공 및 교양 수업 속에서 자연스럽게 AI 기반 문제 해결 능력을 키울 수 있게 됐으며, 교수진 역시 AI를 활용한 첨단 교육 기법을 실제 수업 현장에 적용하는 계기를 마련했다.

최준성 교육혁신본부 부본부장 겸 교수학습혁신센터장은 신설 및 개편된 교과목들이 본래의 교육목적에 부합하는 AI 융합 교육으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 교육적 성과를 지속적으로 점검하겠다고 전했다. 아울러 AI 기반 교육과정의 범주를 넓히고 다각적인 교수·학습 혁신을 이끌어 학생들의 미래 경쟁력을 높이는 데 최선을 다하겠다고 강조했다.

Chungbuk National University has successfully completed the "2026 Academic Year AI Convergence Course Development and Reorganization Project," which organically integrated artificial intelligence technology into the university curriculum to keep pace with changes in future society.

Through this project, which ran from June to August, a total of four courses were finally selected. Two new courses were developed, including "AI-Based Curriculum Convergence English Education Capstone Design" and "Artificial Intelligence and Financial Consumers," while two existing courses, "Mathematics II" and "Signals and Systems," were reorganized to actively utilize AI technology.
