【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주교육지원청이 충북보건과학대학교와 손을 잡고 지역 학생들을 위한 맞춤형 진로교육 강화에 나선다.

청주교육지원청과 충북보건과학대학교는 9월 2일 대학이 보유한 전문 자원과 교육 인프라를 바탕으로 대학·산업 연계 맞춤형 교육 협력 체계를 구축하기 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 지역 교육 자원을 유기적으로 연결해 중·고등학생들에게 깊이 있는 진로 탐색 기회를 제공하고, 교육혁신선도지역 추진 사업을 성공적으로 이끌기 위해 추진됐다.

양 기관은 중·고등학생과 대학, 지역산업을 연계한 진로교육 프로그램을 적극 개발하고 운영하는 데 뜻을 모았다. 특히 보건의료를 비롯해 바이오, 이차전지, 반도체 등 충북보건과학대학교가 강점을 가진 특성화 학과의 인프라와 전문 교육 자원을 활용한 실질적인 체험 교육이 지원될 예정이다.

이를 통해 지역 청소년들이 지역 대학과 산업의 특성을 파악하고, 미래 진로를 주도적으로 구상할 수 있도록 다채로운 교육 활동이 지속적으로 뒷받침된다. 아울러 교육혁신선도지역 사업의 안정적인 정착과 진로교육 발전을 위해 필요한 다양한 분야에서도 협력을 이어갈 방침이다.

청주교육지원청 교육장은 이번 협약이 지역의 미래를 이끌어갈 학생들이 우수한 지역 대학 인프라를 직접 경험하며 꿈을 구체화하는 계기가 되길 기대한다며, 앞으로도 지역사회와의 탄탄한 협력을 바탕으로 내실 있는 미래형 진로교육 환경을 구축하는 데 역량을 집중하겠다고 밝혔다.

The Cheongju Office of Education is joining hands with Chungbuk Health Science University to strengthen customized career education for local students.

On September 2, the Cheongju Office of Education and Chungbuk Health Science University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a cooperative system for customized education linking the university and industry, based on the specialized resources and educational infrastructure possessed by the university.

This agreement was pursued to organically connect local educational resources to provide middle and high school students with opportunities for in-depth career exploration and to successfully lead the project to promote the Education Innovation Leading Region.

Both institutions agreed to actively develop and operate career education programs that link middle and high school students with the university and local industries.
