생거진천문화재단은 오는 5일 오후 3시부터 9시까지 덕산읍 구말문화센터 광장에서 ‘제1회 생거진천 막걸리데이’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 올해 처음으로 막을 올리는 이번 행사는 진천 지역에서 생산되는 막걸리의 우수한 맛과 가치를 널리 알리는 한편, 풍성한 문화예술 공연과 다채로운 체험·먹거리를 접목해 도민과 방문객들에게 즐거움을 선사하고자 기획됐다.

축제의 핵심 공간인 진천 막걸리 홍보존에는 덕산양조장, 진천양조, 서울장수, 통산마을양조장, 337백곡막걸리 등 관내 5개 대표 양조장이 총출동한다. 각 양조장은 브랜드별 대표 제품과 특징을 다채롭게 선보이며 방문객들에게 진천 전통주의 맛을 다각도로 체험할 수 있는 기회를 선사한다. 재단은 청소년 음주 예방을 위해 현장 성인 인증 부스를 별도로 운영하며, 신분 확인을 마치고 인증 팔찌를 착용한 성인 방문객에 한해서만 막걸리 구매가 가능하도록 안전조치를 강화했다.
