충북신용보증재단은 연간 보증공급 금액이 1조 원을 넘어섰다. 이는 재단 설립 이후 처음으로 연 보증공급 1조 원을 넘겼던 지난해보다 약 두 달가량 빠른 기록으로, 고금리와 내수 경기 부진 속에서 지역 기업들의 금융 부담을 덜어주기 위해 지원을 대폭 강화한 결과다.

충북신용보증재단은 올해 보증공급 목표액을 1조 1500억 원으로 상향 조정하고 현장 중심의 신속한 정책금융 공급에 역량을 모아왔다. 소상공인과 중소기업의 금융 접근성을 높이고자 맞춤형 특례보증을 적기에 도입했으며, 비대면 보증심사 도입 등 업무 절차를 대폭 간소화해 이용 편의성을 극대화했다. 아울러 유관기관 및 금융권과의 협력을 넓혀 필요한 자업이 적시에 현장에 전달되도록 체계를 정비했다.

인터뷰에서 김창순 이사장은 "2년 연속 보증공급 1조 원을 달성할 수 있었던 것은 어려운 경제 상황 속에서도 도내 소기업과 소상공인의 경영 안정과 성장을 돕기 위해 임직원 모두가 합심해 발로 뛴 결과"라고 밝혔다.
