【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=서원대학교 앵커사업단 평생교육진흥본부가 지역 화훼 분야 종사자들의 실무 역량을 강화하기 위해 대한민국명장 초청 특강을 마련했다.

이번 강좌는 화훼장식 분야의 권미숙 대한민국명장을 강사로 위촉해 진행됐다. 현장에서 활용 가능한 기술과 오랜 실무 경험을 공유하는 데 중점을 뒀다.

특강에서는 꽃과 소재의 특성을 이해하고 다루는 기본적인 설명부터 화훼 장식 전반에 걸친 실무 기법이 소개됐다. 참가자들은 명장의 시연을 관람한 후 직접 꽃다발을 제작하는 실습에 참여했다. 권미숙 명장은 제작 과정을 일대일로 지도하며 노하우를 전수했으며, 질의응답을 통해 현장 종사자들의 실제적인 고민을 함께 나눴다.

이번 프로그램은 앵커사업단이 추진하는 ‘청년마이스터칼리지’ 사업의 하나로 기획됐다. 서원대 앵커사업단은 청년마이스터칼리지를 바탕으로 지역의 뛰어난 숙련기술을 발굴하고 명장의 노하우를 지역사회에 넓히기 위한 특강 및 멘토링 활동을 이어오고 있다.

서원대 평생교육진흥본부 관계자는 지역의 우수한 기술인과 각 분야 종사자가 교류하며 경험을 나누는 기회를 계속해서 마련하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.

한편 서원대학교는 충북 지역 대학 최초로 성인 대상 단과대학인 미래대학을 설립하며 평생교육 기반을 확대하고 있다. 2025년 충북 RISE 사업을 통해 5년간 총 110억 원의 사업비를 확보했으며, 이를 기반으로 충북 신중년 취창업사관학교, 백년서원, AI디지털칼리지 등을 운영하며 지역 평생교육 거점으로서의 입지를 다지고 있다.
