이번 협약에 따라 단양군환경교육센터는 지역 주민과의 지속적인 소통을 바탕으로 교육 참여자를 발굴하며 마을과 기관, 학교를 잇는 네트워크 구축을 총괄한다. 소백산국립공원북부사무소는 현장 경험과 전문 자격을 갖춘 환경교육 인력을 지원하고 지역에 특화된 맞춤형 교육 프로그램을 개발하는 등 양 기관의 인프라를 적극적으로 공유할 방침이다.
