방문 기간 중 양 도시는 지금까지의 성과를 공유하고, 청소년 대상 교육 프로그램을 기존보다 확대하는 한편 문화·관광 및 지역 특산품 홍보, 경제 협력 등 교류의 폭을 한층 넓혀 나가기로 의견을 모았다.

글렌데일시 대표단은 일정 중 회인 국가유산 야행 행사와 속리산 일대의 주요 문화유산을 참관하고, 지역 대표 특산물인 보은 대추를 활용한 상품 만들기 체험에 참여하는 등 보은의 전통과 역사 문화를 직접 경험했다.
