On the 22nd, Chungju Chungju Education Support Office (Director of Education, Kim Eung-hwan) in the Chungju region, in order to support the healthy growth of students in the Chungju region, was awarded a total of 6.2 million won to 18 elementary and junior high school students in the Chungju region at the Chungju Namsan Rotary Club (Chairman Kiseok Park Chan-il) in the 3740 district. It announced that it has provided a support fund of 3 million won worth of computers and learning materials.

Park Chan-il, chairman of the Chungju Namsan Rotary Club, said that the Rotarians of the Namsan Rotary Club of Chungju have been providing personalized support for students with the sincere desire of the students in our region to fully realize their dreams and grow into healthy members of society.

Unlike general scholarship support projects, this “Kidari-Jor-san Project” is a home visit, student and parent interviews, etc. with the cooperation of educational workers in Chungju, so that the most necessary things and things that can help the student's career are in advance. Through the survey, actual needs were provided, such as hospital fees, academy fees, preparation fees for the new semester, computers, and one-year free support for learning textbooks.

Isia, a freshman in Chungju Girls' Middle School, who received a scholarship certificate as a student representative, said, “I am very happy that I have the opportunity to solve the problem book that I want to solve for the next year. I am greedy for studying, so I want to do all of my subjects well, but I felt sorry for my mother because the problem book was too expensive. With this opportunity, I will study hard, raise my grades, and try to achieve my dream.”

Eung-Hwan Kim, Superintendent of the Chungju Office of Education, Chungcheongbuk-do, said, “We express our infinite gratitude for the group in our region paying attention to and carefully reviewing our children for healthy and happy growth, and hope that it will be a valuable opportunity for students to step forward toward their dreams. Park Chan-il, chairman of Chungju Namsan Rotary Club, said, “I hope that we will continue to help students grow well through continued interest and support with our Rotarians.”
