【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시는 7일 이차전지 소재기업인 ㈜코이즈(대표이사 조재형)와 기업 신설 투자협약을 체결한다.

김창규 제천시장, 이정임 제천시의회 의장, ㈜코이즈 조재형 대표이사 등 8여명의 관계자가 참석한 가운데 투자협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약으로 ㈜코이즈는 이차전지 양극재 첨가제 양산을 위해 제천 제3산업단지 내 12,624㎡ 부지에 신규 투자한다. 올해부터 단계적으로 연 200톤 생산 규모의 설비를 조성할 계획이다.

시는 약 100명의 고용유발 효과를 창출할 것으로 내다보고 있다.

한편 2006년에 설립된 ㈜코이즈는 LCD디스플레이 핵심부품인 광학소재 공정기술과 품질관리경영 등 노하우를 축적해왔다. 오랜기간 금속산화물 나노입자 제조 기술을 연구해 이차전지 양극재 첨가제 개발도 완료한 성장잠재력이 높은 기업이다.
