 정영철 군수는 지난 19일 세종정부종합청사를 방문해 2025년 지역 주요 현안사업 설명과 함께 국비 예산지원을 요청했다.

 열악한 군 재정을 극복하고 지역 발전을 가속화시킬 최고 대안은 국가 예산의 확보이기에, 정 군수는 지역의 주요 현안사업 예산이 최대한 반영될 수 있도록 분주하게 움직이고 있다.

 정 군수는 이날 기획재정부를 방문해 2025 영동세계국악엑스포 기반 조성(총사업비 136.9억원, 국비 41.1억원)과 영동군 생활폐기물 소각시설 설치사업(총사업비 139억원, 국비 42억원)이 확정될수 있도록 건의했다.
