【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=장우성 괴산부군수가 민선 8기 지역 현안 사업의 차질 없는 진행을 위해 발로 뛰는 현장 행정에 나섰다.

충북 괴산군(군수 송인헌)은 장 부군수가 6일부터 14일까지 주요 사업장을 방문해 추진 현황을 점검한다고 밝혔다.

장 부군수는 현장을 직접 둘러보며 문제점을 파악하고 개선 방안을 모색하는 한편, 선택과 집중을 통해 사업별 추진 속도를 높이겠다는 방침이다.

현장 방문 첫날인 6일에는 괴산 반다비 체육관 등 신축 체육시설 6곳을 둘러보며 추진 상황 등을 확인했다.

이어 7일부터는 △박달산 산림휴양단지 △선유동 신선길 조성지 △시스템반도체 첨단AI 분석플랫폼 구축사업 현장 등을 차례로 방문해 추진 현황을 점검할 계획이다.

특히, 지난해 연풍역 개통으로 수도권까지 1시간대 접근이 가능해진 만큼 직접 연풍역을 찾아 실제로 기차를 탑승해 보는 등 주변 관광 활성화를 위한 방안도 적극 모색할 예정이다.

장우성 부군수는 “올해는 전 직원이 함께 힘을 모아 민선8기 주요 사업들이 가시적 성과를 낼 수 있도록 최선을 다할 것”이라며, “최근 전국적으로 안전사고가 빈번히 발생하는 만큼 성공적인 사업 추진에 박차를 가하되 안전하게 진행될 수 있도록 꼼꼼히 챙겨 달라”고 당부했다.

한편, 지난해 1월 괴산군 부군수로 취임한 장우성 부군수는 지난 1월 10일 부이사관 승진했다.
