【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시가 친환경 자동차 보급 확대와 대기환경 개선을 위해 오는 7일부터 2025년 상반기 전기자동차 보급지원 신청을 받는다.

올해 시는 총 132억 원의 예산을 투입해 전기자동차 1,519대(전기 승용차 1,204대, 전기 화물차 310대, 전기승합차 5대)를 보급할 계획이다.

이 중 약 80%에 해당하는 1,215대(전기 승용차 960대, 전기 화물차 250대, 전기승합차 5대)는 상반기에 집중하여 지원한다.

전기자동차 구매를 희망하는 시민은 차량 제작·수입사와 구매 계약을 체결한 후, 제작·수입사를 통해 무공해차 구매보조금 시스템에서 보조금 지원 신청을 진행하면 된다.

구매지원을 받은 자는 충주시에 차량을 등록하고 2년간 의무적으로 보유해야 하며, 만일 그 전에 차량을 판매하는 경우 지원받은 보조금을 반납하여야 하므로 주의가 필요하다.
