【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 7일부터 3월 4일까지 실시되는 2024년 기준 사업체조사를 시작으로 합리적 의사결정을 뒷받침하기 위한 2025년 군 맞춤형 6개 통계조사를 본격 추진한다.

사업체 조사는 관내 사업체의 분포 및 고용구조를 파악하는 통계조사로서 정책 수립 및 학술연구의 기초자료로 활용된다. 

조사 대상은 지난해 말 기준 관내에서 산업활동을 수행하고 있는 모든 사업체로 약 1만8504개 사업체다.

조사 항목은 사업체명, 사업의 종류, 연간매출액 등 9개 항목으로 조사원이 사업체를 직접 방문해 조사표를 작성하는 면접조사 방식과 전화, 인터넷 등을 활용한 비면접조사 방식을 병행한다.

올해 군은 2024년 기준 사업체조사를 마친 후 △2024년 사회조사(5월 9일~23일) △2023년 기준 광업·제조업조사(6월 17일~7월 21일) △2024년 기준 음성군 경제지표조사(8~9월 중, 우리군 특색이 반영된 조사)와 5년 주기 통계청 대규모 총조사인 △2025 인구주택총조사(11월 1일~18일) △2025 농림어업총조사(12월 2일~19일)를 실시할 예정이다. 

특히 2년 주기로 실시되는 음성군 자체 통계조사인 ‘2024년 기준 음성군 경제지표조사’는 올해 2회째를 맞이해 기존 축적된 경험과 노하우를 활용해 보다 효율적인 정책 수립의 밑거름이 될 것으로 예상된다.

군 관계자는 “올해 6개 통계조사를 시행함에 따라 군민들께서 통계조사에 적극적으로 협조해 주실 것을 부탁드린다”며 “앞으로 음성군이 음성시로 승격하기 위한 정책 결정에 이바지하기 위해 통계 행정에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
