【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주시는 2026년 예산편성에 반영할 시민참여예산 제안사업을 5월 30일까지 공개 모집한다고 7일 밝혔다.

제안 대상사업은 △생활주변의 불편해소를 위한 주민생활과 직결되는 소규모사업 △지역주민의 복지증진과 삶의 질 향상을 위한 사업이다.

다만 △법령 및 예산편성 관련 기준을 위반하는 사업 △특정 개인이나 단체의 이익을 위한 사업 △타 기관 소관 사업 △기타 공익에 저해되는 사업 등은 대상에서 제외된다.

공모에는 청주시민, 청주시에 위치한 직장 또는 학교에 다니는 사람이면 누구나 참여할 수 있다. 제안서는 시청 누리집에서 접수시키거나 읍‧면‧동 행정복지센터로 방문 또는 우편을 통해 제출하면 된다.

제안된 사업은 담당 부서의 검토를 거친 후 시민참여예산위원회의 심의 등을 통해 2026년 예산안에 반영되며, 의회 승인으로 최종 결정된다.

한편 청주시는 시민들에게 시정참여 기회를 제공함과 동시에, 다양한 아이디어를 수렴해 지역 생활여건을 개선하기 위해 2014년부터 시민참여예산제도를 운영하고 있다.
