 군은 2025년 한 해 동안 공공일자리 및 재정지원 일자리 사업을 통해 취약계층과 구직자를 위한 고용 기회를 적극 제공할 계획이다. 이를 위해 △공공근로사업(120명), △지역공동체 일자리사업(18명), △일손지원기동대 운영(9명), △일손이음지원사업(6,000명), △충북형 도시근로자 지원사업(4,740명) 등 총 1,500여명 이상의 일자리를 창출할 예정이다. 

 청년 창업 및 취업 지원도 한층 강화된다. 군은 △청년 면접 정장 대여사업(30명), △청년 단계별 취업 지원사업(10명), △청년 채용 인건비 지원사업(3명)을 추진하며, 지역 내 우수 인재가 정착할 수 있도록 돕는다. 

 또한 △청년창업 지원사업(3명), △창업청년 임차료 지원사업(10명) 등을 통해 창업을 희망하는 청년들에게 실질적인 지원을 제공할 예정이다.

 한편 일손 부족 문제 해결을 위한 일손이음 기동대 운영도 확대된다. 특히 농번기와 관광 성수기 등에 인력이 집중 투입될 수 있도록 지원하며, 군민과 기업, 농가 등이 필요할 때 즉각적으로 도움을 받을 수 있도록 유연하게 운영할 계획이다.

 군은 오는 14일까지 일손이음 기동대 일할 곳을 모집 중이며, 14일까지 읍·면사무에서 신청이 가능하다.
