【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 영동군 심천면 주민자치위원회(위원장 박희성)는 지난 6일 심천면사무소 주차장에서 제6회 심천면민 안녕기원제를 성황리에 개최했다. 

 이날 행사에는 심천면 기관·사회단체장과 면민 등 100여 명이 참석해 면민의 안녕과 화합을 기원했다.

 올해로 6회째를 맞이한 심천면민 안녕기원제는 심천면민의 건강과 행복, 풍년 농사를 기원하고 지역 공동체의 결속을 다지는 의미 있는 행사로 자리잡고 있다.

 행사는 지프네 풍물단의 지신밟기 농악놀이로 막을 열었다. 이어 안녕기원제 의례가 진행됐으며, 심천면민의 안녕과 면내 평안, 풍년을 염원하는 축문이 낭독됐다. 의식을 마친 후 참석자들은 함께 떡국을 나누며 소통과 화합의 시간을 가졌다.

 박희성 위원장은 “정월대보름을 앞두고 면민들이 한자리에 모여 한 해의 안녕을 기원하고 마을 간의 소통과 화합을 다지는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 주민자치위원회가 지역 공동체를 위해 다양한 행사를 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

 한편 심천면민 안녕기원제는 해마다 정월대보름을 앞두고 개최되며, 주민들의 자발적인 참여로 이어지는 전통 행사로서 지역사회에 활력을 불어넣고 있다.
