【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평장뜰두레농요보존회 회장 이·취임식이 지난 6일 증평민속체험박물관에서 열렸다.

이날 행사에서 초대 양철주(67) 회장에 이어 2대 이송근(57) 신임 회장이 취임했다.

이송근 회장은 장뜰두레농요보존회에서 꾸준히 활동하면서, 지역 농요의 보존 및 전승, 지역주민 및 외부인 교육 사업 등 지역문화 전통 계승 사업에 앞장서 왔다.

이 회장은 “증평장뜰두레농요는 증평 뿐만 아니라 우리나라에서 꼭 보존· 전승해야 할 우리의 소중한 전통문화”라며, “앞으로 두레 문화에 대한 전승 활동을 늘리고 신규 회원들이 적극적으로 다양한 사업을 추진할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다. 

한편, 2002년 결성된 증평장뜰두레농요보존회는 매년 6월 증평민속체험박물관에서 ‘들노래 축제’를 시연하고 있으며, 각종 민속예술경연대회에서 꾸준히 두각을 나타내고 있다. 

특히 작년 제65회 한국민속예술제에서 우수상인 문화체육관광부장관상을 수상하는 쾌거를 달성하기도 했다.

Meanwhile, the Jeungpyeong Jangtteul Dure Nongyo Preservation Society, which was formed in 2002, performs the ‘Deulnorae Festival’ at the Jeungpyeong Folk Experience Museum every June and has consistently distinguished itself in various folk art competitions.

In particular, it achieved the feat of winning the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award, an award of excellence, at the 65th Korean Folk Arts Festival last year.
